Biography
Yongqiang Zhao received the B.S. degree in automation and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in control theory and control engineering from the Northwestern Polytechnic University, Xi’an, China, in 1998, 2001, and 2004, respectively. From 2007 to 2009, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at McMaster University, Hamilton, ON, Canada and Temple University, Philadelphia, PA, respectively. He is currently a Professor and doctoral supervisor with Northwestern Polytechnic University with research interests in polarization imaging analysis, hyperspectral imaging and application, image processing, information fusion, and pattern recognition. He is the Guest Editor of Remote Sensing, Journal of Sensor.
